World of Tanks ( WoT) is a massively multiplayer online game developed by Belarusian company Wargaming, featuring 20th century (1910s–1970s) era combat vehicles.
Surely I am not the only guy trying to set up wot blitz on a non-touch screen android device.Vehicular combat, massively multiplayer online I remember being surprised that it said password must be at least 6 characters when I signed up.Īnyways, any advice would be appreciated.
My iPad won’t accept my wargaming password stating that it must be 8 characters which isn’t true. If I had another android device, I could log in with the same wargaming account and get past the tutorial and then test after-tutorial again on ouya. On this screen, I can use the right stick to move the view around but nothing moves the tank forward although maybe the game doesn’t allow that until you have your thumbs in place… I can not manage to get the second one though so thats it. I can get one thumb print to go solid by double tapping the mouse pad in the centre of ouya controller over top of the thumb print. I have tried every combination of buttons possible and it won’t register. Then it now takes you to a tutorial and starts by “hold your device like this” with pulsing thumb print on each side of the screen. I can get past the google play services thing easily enough and begin the game. Update: I downloaded the latest version from another site since this doesn’t seem to be working.
I see a spanish youtube video that I can’t understand and the guy is playing wot Blitz on an ouya but I don’t know how. After logging in with a wargaming account, would it be able to download it’s update from the wargaming server? If not, than I guess there is no point even setting up a wargaming account since its not possible to update it with Play on an ouya. I intend to start a war gaming account on the computer and then try logging in with that. Is it normal for Play to give you an outdated app, and then update it after install? Anyways, thats as far as I got. How could it be outdated? In the corner of the screen, it did say 2.3.0. I downloaded it from google play just an hour before. As I tried to avoid logging in, I also got a pop up that says that the app is out of date and to update it. But I did have an option to log in with Facebook, google or a wargaming account. The button failed to do anything of course (Ouya doesn’t support Play). Finally the game started up and pretty quickly came to a pop up that said something like “This device does not have google play services so can not run this app” with a button to install google services. It took a long time to download the resources of whatever. I first downloaded it from google play via Evozi as I always do then installed it via a flash drive.
